What do we do?

We entertain with "Live Theatre Where People Interact," using children and adults from the audience in fun and easy ways to bring smiles to all ages. We love performing for you and with you - we love connecting in fun and positive ways. But we not only perform plays, we teach theatre to a variety of ages. We visit with characters. We direct. We storytell. We write. Oh, in case you're wondering, the business isn't named, oh... "Fairy Tales Etc Theatre" (it was once), it's my full name because, well, it's the cheapest route for a business name. Now you know. About Us

   The two main players of our theater company are Christopher and Marian Scadden.
   Chris has a BA in theater and an MA in bilingual education. He has performed in a plethora of plays since high school, including at the Park City Shakespeare Fest. He has taught at elementary schools, high schools and college. And he makes up his own songs when doing singing telegrams.
   Marian has a BA in children's theater. She has been miming since high school, and discovered it's possible to talk in white face. She writes plays and novels, both available on Amazon and Smashwords. Marian directs a variety of ages in musicals, Shakespeare, and other plays.
   Both Chris and Marian have taught, directed and performed for children through adults, in school programs, at libraries and at community centers. They've also been in commercials, on the radio, and in independent films. Between the two of them they have over 80 years of experience. Dang-it-shoot! That's a lot of years.
